We believe in a future where no woman faces uterine cancer alone. A future where stigma no longer silences women, where symptoms are recognized early, and where access to care is not a privilege but a right.
That vision is at the heart of the position paper on uterine cancer “Spotlight on uterine cancer: Shaping access to equitable and high-quality care”, which we co-authored with patient advocacy groups, medical societies and AstraZeneca. Launched at the 2025 Concordia Annual Summit, held alongside the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Meeting, the paper sets out the urgent actions needed to make this future a reality.
It calls for governments and funders to prioritize equitable access to therapies, ensuring women everywhere benefit from the latest advances in care. It also makes clear that uterine cancer must be explicitly included in global strategies and national cancer control plans, so that progress is properly tracked, resourced, and sustained over time.
