Endometrial Cancer Clinical Education & Resources
Society for Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) is the United States’ premier professional society for doctors who treat gynecologic cancers (gynecologic oncologists). They provide education, encourage cutting-edge research, and advocate for patients and members to improve care and research in gynecologic oncology. SGO resources include:
Clinical guidelines for management of gynecologic cancers: Scroll down to “Endometrial Cancer” for more technical information on what is considered the “gold standard” for treating women with this condition; your care provider will be able to answer your questions about your treatment options.
Uterine cancer information for patients, survivors, and caregivers: This page includes links to clinical practice guidelines, specialist listings:

Diagnosing Illness: Cancer Support Resources: People worry about what will happen if they can’t work or if they can’t afford the treatments their doctors are suggesting. But many organizations offer resources to help patients and their caregivers find the support they need to navigate a cancer diagnosis and all that it means.

Real Black Grandmothers: The first and only digital archive of personal accounts, cultural artifacts, living and oral histories that captures the remarkable and diverse experiences of black grandmothers and their grandchildren from the past to the present. Advocacy & Research
Black Women’s Health Imperative: The only national organization dedicated solely to improving the health and wellness of our nation’s 21 million Black women and girls – physically, emotionally and financially. Learn more about their political advocacy work, access resources on health issues, and read their blog. You can also read their IndexUS report describing lessons about being Black and healthy from 20 years of research from the Black Women’s Health Study.
Black Women’s Health Study: A research team – established in 1995 – working toward a better understanding of causes of illnesses and determinants of good health for Black women. You can read their research publications and newsletters to learn about what they’ve found in their research so far.
