7 ways to get involved

At ECANA, we work to educate African American women on the risks and symptoms of endometrial cancer, as well as support those living with it. We ask that you stand with us to save lives. Below are seven ways you can support our programs.

1. Donate

By making a donation to ECANA, you support our programs which we have designed to positively impact the lives of African American women with endometrial cancer, and support inclusive medical research.

Consider making a one-time gift or establishing a recurring monthly donation. You may also dedicate your donation in honor or in memory of a loved one.

2. Spread the word

If you know an African American woman facing endometrial cancer, please share our information with her.

We are dedicated to offering support through a caring community, providing valuable education, and listening.

3. Become an Ambassador

ECANA Ambassadors share knowledge about the wide racial health disparities of endometrial cancer, how to diagnose EC early, and promote ECANA locally in their communities.

Learn more about being an ECANA Ambassador by contacting our team.

4. Volunteer your time & skills

We are always eager to collaborate with passionate individuals who share our commitment to supporting our mission and programs. Whether you bring expertise, resources, or simply a desire to make a positive impact, your involvement can help us reach more women in need and amplify our efforts.

5. Sponsor an educational session in your community

Are you interested in educating your community about endometrial cancer? Whether it’s at your next book club meeting, bible study, community center event, or beauty salon, we are here to support you. We can provide brochures, talking points, and arrange for one of our Ambassadors to share their story and answer questions.

It would be our pleasure to come through and join the conversation.

6. Partner with us for academic research

One of ECANA’s primary goals is to develop partnerships between academic researchers and organizations with African American survivors who have had endometrial cancer.

We prioritize research partnerships that focus on patient-centered outcomes and align with ECANA’s mission.

If you’re interested in partnering with us, please check out our Research Partnerships Guidelines.
